Let me start out by laying out some givens. I don't have a dog in who should be the nominee in 2008....
yet. I don't think that any of us can possibly know who'll be the best candidate 4 years from now, or what issues will be the priority of voters. Who could've predicted in 2000 that
Gay Marriage would become a factor in 2004?
So what do I find hypocritical? Over the past few weeks, I've seen quite a number of ANTI-HILLARY diaries & comments. Now, I have no problem with people disliking her as a candidate or wanting someone different. What suprises me is that a lot of the people who say she shouldn't be the nominee, are probably people who support Howard Dean for DNC CHAIR & would probably support him in 2008. They use arguments against her that are the same ones that were used against Dean this year (& could probably be made against Dean being either DNC CHAIR or a candidate in 08 too). They're both from the north-east & they're both polarizing figures in the media.
Isn't this a little hypocritical?
