I was talking to some online friends about the upcoming election. One of them said, something in the vein of, "Many Democrats don't even support Kerry, they simply want Bush out. It's kinda crappy and cowardly to use the ABB argument and it doesn't help us as it shows even we aren't solidly behind Kerry, but simply think he's 'good enough'."
I agree with it to an extent, I don't think it helps bring out the standard Dem base...but I do think it might help make it easier for moderate Republicans and independents to vote for Kerry. I'm divided on the issue, but the more I think about, the more I tend to agree with it. Especially after seeing the "Unity Dinner", which I loved!
Is it time to kick the ABB argument?
