Last year some were proposing that Ohio's 14 District, currently occupied by Steve LaTourette, would be one of the districts Democrats could grab back from the Republicans.
The 14th District is there for the taking. The Democratic candidate, Lew Katz (
http://www.katzforcongress.com/...), is a great, great guy, but, obviously, he needs money. Little attention has thus far been paid to the 14th District. The Cleveland Plain Dealer endorsed Katz in the primary but otherwise has not even mentioned the race. Obviously, Katz needs money. LaTourette's campaign chest is well-stocked, and it's no wonder. Katz has a real chance in this election year, but he needs to be better known. Really, if the voters in his district get to know him, they'll elect him.
