Live Blog Call for Volunteers: Monica Goodling Testimony

Call for Volunteers

To make this as orderly as possible we'd like to, once again, ask for volunteers today so there isn't a mad scramble on Wednesday. I think the Monica Goodling hearing will go for about 20 diaries provided we put up new diaries at the 250 comment point  That's the minimum number of volunteers we're looking for. I'll update this diary as volunteers come on board.

Crashing Vor is the all-important 1st diarist

 

House Judiciary Committee website indicates that the hearing will begin at
10:15 on Wednesday 5/23.

C-Spanhasn't updated their website with the hearing information yet.

Guidelines

There are some guidelines that we, and other live bloggers in diaries have come up with.  

• Have your diary ready to go and publish when previous diary reaches about 250 comments.  That's when things start slowing down.
• Link to new diary in the previous diary when new one is published.
• Link to ONLY the previous diary and C-Span or webcast.  Trying to add links to ALL previous diaries gets to be time consuming.   Latecomers can always backtrack to whatever point they want to jump in and read.
• This one is really important. And NEW When a new diary goes up, DO NOT Recommend it. These Live Blogs only last about 20 minutes or so.  It will still be high enough on the Recent Diaries List and should be easy to find  This will prevent the Recommended List from being clogged with multiple Live Blog diaries.
• No pictures or images in comments for the benefit of all users.
