We all know that no matter how well Howard Dean does tonight in the debate, the interview with Diane, and the Letterman show, that folks like Peggy Noonan and David Brooks will find something bad to say.
But here's the test: let's just say there are some strikingly positive things to be found in his appearances this evening. Will any of these make it to the top of an AP, WaPo, NYTimes story? Will they be there, only to be attached to one of Nedra's famous, "but failed to explain" modifiers?
