Wimps

Classy folks, these Republicans.
Rep. Heather Wilson (R-N.M.) called for comity Wednesday during a meeting of the Republican Conference after House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) referred to Senate colleagues who have begun to favor a change in course in Iraq as "wimps."...
According to sources, Boehner and Minority Whip Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) were urging solidarity among House Republicans, explaining that they must distinguish themselves from their Senate colleagues.
Pretty big talk for someone who's actually never served his country in uniform, unlike that Republican wimp Chuck Hagel. Or Democratic Senator and former Secretary of the Navy Jim Webb. Boehner is another of those Republicans who's acquaintance with reality seems a little strained. Just a few months ago, he was comparing Iraq to the small packaging business he ran before going to Congress.
"I owned a small business. I have benchmarks every month, but if I didn’t meet the benchmarks and if I missed the profit margin, I didn’t shut down the business. I didn’t yank the funds and close up the door."
What a wanker.
Update: Boehner actually did kind of serve. For eight weeks in training. Then was discharged for a medical reason. He's still a wanker.
