In the Linux community there is the notion of reducing complexity by distributing a difficult problem across a large number of investigators. Some have dubbed this, 'Linus's Law':
"Given enough eyeballs, all bugs are shallow.''
I think the same can be applied to cooperative investigation of the problem of potential vote fraud in the 2004 election:
"Given enough eyeballs, all fraud is detectable."
I wouldn't be offended to have this dubbed, 'Krag's Law'. ;)
