Rumsfeld breaks down in tears, pleading with the NATO defense ministers not to tear apart a vulnerable US - now hat in hand to fund a huge deficit which was racked up in naked pursuit of the self-interest of the Republican Party. Having squandered roughly 2 Trillion dollars - and counting - on various economic and political misadventures, the bottom feeders of the freep world are now crawling to "Old Europe" for another chance.
The clock is running out for them, and by extension for us if we do not make dramatic changes.
The MTP (Fill in the appropriate "M" verb "the President") was filled with the kind of defensive emptiness which shows that "the war" is now an embarassment even to those who fought it. They are, of course, buying time to - Osama cannot be caught now, the bounce would fade. But, like many dishonest executives, they have only one road available - to beg for money, lie to the customers, and hope business conditions improve.
This means that this is a moment of insertability: on the failure of leadership on Iraq, terrorism and the economy - and the divisive and dictatorial manner it was pursued. No administration in my life time has had such a free hand and total hold on power. They got everything, or almost everything they wanted. The American people united behind them, and if it hasn't turned out the right way, they are completely responsible.
Naturally, like bad business executives, they hope they will be retained -because a shake up would be bad for the corporate image - and will get golden parachutes on the way out.
Don't count on it. If justice is not seen to be done on this, then the political anger which now is channelled into electoral politics will be channelled into the next level.

So what is the message?
Look at the picture, find blunt words for a blubbering wuss begging the French for forgiveness. There's all the message we need for this.
