Right now there's just a restraining order on the class, which was to begin Monday, for ten days while the court hears further arguments.
The curriculum includes safe sex, how to wear a condom, and dangers of unprotected sex. Let's hope these 8th and 10th graders at least get THOSE discussions going as soon as possible.
Update [2005-5-6 11:52:48 by Christopher Bair]: Thanks mysteve: Jerry Falwell and Beverly LaHaye are part of the unnamed "concerned parents", or at least, helping them plot this controversy. CNN forget to include this information, and it's still considered part of the SCLM by the right? For shame.
