Last night on "The Apprecentice" Howard M. Lorber Chairman,Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate was critiqueing Lana and said the following "As it related to Tana. Listen she is a very nice woman from Iowa. I don't think she makes it in a big metropolitan city.New York Chicago or anywhere else that you'll have to be doing a project."
This comment embodies the racism in the hiring process in America and ESPECIALLY IN NEW YORK.
ELLIOT SPITZER: If you're reading this, Lorber NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED!!!!
When this "CEO" made this comment, I almost fell off my chair and couldn't believe what I had heard.
Howard M. Lorber WAS NOT very bright and clearly has biases against people who come from different parts of the country in his hiring process. He clearly is not very emotionally bright or intelligent. If he was, he would not have made this remark.
He's the PERFECT company to investigate for more wrongdoing in his business practices, hiring practices and workplace pratices.
We don't base hiring decisions on where someone is from geographically, if they're married or single, or whether they have children or not.
