As
Kathleen Sebelius continues to
firm up her numbers for her gubernatorial reelection bid in Kansas, expect her name to be bandied about as a possible 2008 veep candidate. Her name seems to be popping up in conversations all over the place.
There will be strong pressure for the male candidates to select a woman, and one or more of them might want to float rumors of doing so early in the primary process to take steam out of the Hillary train.
For whatever reason, AZ Gov. Janet Napolitano doesn't get the same level of buzz even though Arizona is a much more attractive state in terms of the electoral college (we actually have a shot at winning it).
