Well, you know, if John Nash, the Russell Crowe character was a woman.
I thought I was obsessed when I was keeping all the players straight in the illegal outing of Valerie Plame. Keeping track of the different theories and how the people involved were all connected required a lot of concentration.
I was a little more on edge trying to keep track of all the cronyistic links between those in FEMA and the timeline that Mike Brown is trying so inelegantly to distort.
But the Jack Abramoff scandals might truly have people trying to commit me.
Understand that a lot of the people in my circles don't follow these things as closely as I do, so when it comes up and I rattle of a litany of connections and theories (and I do it quickly so I don't lose them), I get some, em,
interesting looks.
I've even found myself drawing up little graphs on post-it notes to illustrate my point.
Bolton/Fleitz -> Miller -> Novak who confirms through Rove/Libby?
Abramoff ->hitman/Ashcroft/Rove via Flanigan?
Fundraiser Albaugh -> Rove -> Brown -> incompetence.
Can I be that far away from sticking those post-its on my office wall, stringing together the connections? I have actually thought about doing just that to keep all the lies straight.
Maybe we need a open thread therapy thread on dkos.
