(Cross-posted at
My Left Wing,

I went to a garden party to reminisce with my old friends
A chance to share old memories and play our songs again
When I got to the garden party, they all knew my name
No one recognized me, I didn't look the same
But it's all right now, I learned my lesson well.
You see, ya can't please everyone, so ya got to please yourself
Come to the Garden Party! You don't even have to be one of the grimy-nailed regulars of Saturday Morning Garden Blogging. See the "details" (such as they are)
When: Saturday July 29, 2006, 3:00 p.m. to whenever.
Where: Casa de Frankenoid, Baker Neighborhood, near Alameda and Broadway, Denver, CO
I'd really love to meet the local crew (and any out-of-state visitors who can mosey our way). This will largely be a pot-luck effort; I hereby commit to grilling some flank steaks and some garlic-marinated pork loin with plum sauce.
RSVP, get address/directions, and give me an idea of what you can bring: e-mail pfranklin at hwiglaw dot com; put Garden Party in the re line so my spam blocker doesn't block you.
