Today, german Secretary of Defense Peter Struck immediately fired the commanding general of the german Special Forces KSK (Kommando SpezialKräfte), Brigade General Rainhard Günzel, after word got to him that Günzel wrote a congratulary letter to Martin Hohmann, member of the Bundestag for the CDU, for a speech made by Hohmann.
Hohmann made a speech on the 3rd of October (german national holiday), making the ridiculous assertion that jews were responsible for the executions in the russion october revolution, since some of the bolsheviki were jewish, thereby somehow trying to deflect blame from the germans for WWII and the Holocaust.
He has been known to write articles in rightwing newspapers and to have contacts to ultraconservative catholic christians.
Oh, and BTW:
Has Rumsfeld fired general Boykin yet?
