One of the great weaknesses I see in the current group of Democrats is the lack of any real "Globalization" agenda. The Bush administration, of course, is pro-globalization. What I have not heard is an alternative agenda from a Democrat.
GDP exploded in the third quarter, and yet unemployment did not decline much. In fact, no one really thinks it will, in large measure because of the outsourcing move among major companies. There is an enormous opportunity for Democrats to develop an agenda around this issue. To date, it is an opportunity that is being missed.
