I'm a reporter at the East Bay Express newspaper (an alternative weekly covering the Bay Area) working on a cover profile of Markos Moulitsas and Daily Kos. Would any regular Daily Kos readers/posters like to comment for my story?
I'm looking for people who can talk to me about how they use Daily Kos and what it means to them. I'd like to know what kind of information you seek from blogs (opinions? breaking news? analysis?), what other media sources you turn to for trustworthy information, and what role you thought Daily Kos and other partisan blogs played in informing you during the 2004 election season. Did you donate to the Kos Dozen, or help with the Sinclair boycott, or participate in any of the GOTV or fundraising drives mentioned on Daily Kos? I'd love to hear your story. I'm happy to talk with folks from anywhere in the nation who are regular Daily Kos readers, but it would be especially great to talk to some people in the Bay Area. You can reach me at kara.platoni@eastbayexpress.com between now and the end of November.
Thanks!
