Just how
radical and
extremist is Team Bush from the mainstream of either party and from core American values?
So radical that he can turn one local state Republican in Vermont, "Proservative" Peter Moss of Fairfax, into a Democrat running for U.S. Senate. So radical that this fringe idea of his campaign platform sounds like a breath of fresh air:
A new U.S. DUD or Department of Un-Do, to reverse all the grievous deeds of the bushist regime: tax cuts for the rich, abolition of the inheritance tax, privatization of Social Security, use of religion as a political weapon, senseless wars, and every other anti-social act and action. This will take the wind out of the bushists' 2 remaining years.
(But that's not all. There's "
a constitutional amendment making Social Security the senior obligation of the U.S. in perpetuity," and "
abolish corporate personhood.")
This, frankly, brilliant and direct idea got me thinking about a re-design for the entire federal government:
Instead of the CIA, how about the KYFWHIAFMIA: Keep Your Filthy White House Ideas Away From My Intelligence Agency?
For DOD, it could be the DONIODP, or The Department Of Not Invading, Only Defense (Please).
And the EPA? How about GYDCHOMAW&F, or Get Your Dirty Corporate Hands of My Air, Water, & Food?
The House? Well, it can stay the House, but perhaps with some added words to describe it more accurately: The House of Corrections for Unreformed Lobbyists.
Election note: Yes, according to the St. Alban's Messenger, who unearthed this curiosity, we now have a three-way race in Vermont. What will Tarrant and Sanders do against the un-do?
