One would have thought he was talking about the 2000 elections. But no, it was about Gay Marriage.
Someone needs to inform Bush how our form of government works. Elections are to be decided by counting the votes of the people. Individual civil liberties are protected by the Bill of Rights. Were it not so, we would still have slavery, as well as a rash of other bigoted laws on the books. In this way, civil liberties are protected agains the 'Tyranny of the Majority.'
Of course, were the 2000 elections decided constitutionally (instead of through the courts), we wouldn't have Bush in office in the first place.
Impeach him.
