I always wondered when Dick Cheney got up in the morning, did look in the mirror and say to himself, "how can I be more evil than President Bush." Well, after yesterday, I think he might've topped Bush for the award of worst person in the most corrupt Administration, ever.
Oh, sure, I can point out to Dick Cheney giving out the tie-breaking vote in the Senate on budget cuts that would put drastic limitations on Medicaid and Student loans. But, that wouldn't be a surprise to all. He's a Conservative, true and blue. Why should his tax dollars pay for poor people and their medicine and a person's right to go to college.
Yesterday, however, I can say with a straight face that Dick Cheney is the most evil person in the world. Last night on MSNBC's "Countdown with Keith Olbermann," a startling report out of Iraq that Cheney's Halliburton, the one company that made him rich beyond belief is contaminating water being used at one of the U.S. Bases in Iraq. It's bad enough that Cheney and Bush sent troops to Iraq to for Weapons of Mass Destruction that doesn't even exist, but it's a fucking tragedy for a company so knee-deep in Cheney's shit is contaminating the water.
According to the report the water is being used for handwashing, laundry, bathing, and making coffee. Many troops and Halliburton workers have suffered Diarrhea and stomach cramps as a result. The level of contamination is roughly 2 times the normal contamination of untreated water from the Euphrates river. Halliburton in the past has been accused of bilking the American tax payer, but contaminating the water that are troops are drinking in Iraq is the worse type of sin. The level of hypocrisy by the right-wing is astonshing.
They've claimed that Liberals don't give a damn about the troops, but an organization that was once headed by Vice President Dick Cheney can contaminate water and bilk American tax payers, and they're the good guys? Obviously, Democrats are alone in their investigation into these allegations. I mean, do you honestly think Republicans will jump on Cheney's Halliburton? No, because the evil dick will sick Karl Rove on them so fast their head will spin.
According, to fmr Halliburton employees, e-mails had been sent to the higher ups about the water in Iraq and instead of addressing the problem from a health issue, they instead addressed it as a PR issue. Which, is no surprise because the current wing of the Republican party is all about PR. Protecting one's ass from disaster. Now, to be fair, Dick Cheney didn't contaminate the water, but he unleashed Halliburton onto the world. His company is all about money and oil, and the rest can go screw. No surprise, here. Dick Cheney never served a day of his life fighting for his country, so why should he care if U.S. troops in Iraq are drinking contaminated water.
It's all about him and what he can do with that Iraqi oil. There's been a lot of talk about Bush's impeachment. Be still my heart, I'm hoping it happens. But, when it does happen, look what will possibly end up with.
An evil man, with no conscience and no heart, quite possibly running the country. I'm all for kicking President Bush, or as I like to call him "President Syphillis," to the curb. But, will that do for the welfare of the country if Cheney would take over. After what I heard last night, the idea makes me shudder.
