Right now the country is paying record prices at the pump for gasoline. In 2002 congress (including many Democrats) voted against raising the "CAFE" standards, the fuel efficiency stardards for cars. Now we are reaping the cost of that poor judgement.
Does anyone have any information on Democrats who voted against raising the CAFE standards that are still in office?
We ought to remind them what their vote cost us.
(I'm ignoring the Republicans since I feel they're a lost cause.)
Cheers, Doolitte.
