Rasmussen recently did a Kerry vs. Bush poll with very strong Kerry results on things like the economy, social issues, etc. I know what you're saying, and you're right -- it's way too early and Rove hasn't started up yet. Anyway, in spite of that, how
sobering for Bush if he finds out that 60% of REPUBLICANS believe he's better than Kerry on the economy. These are REPUBLICANS. Party loyal or death. Only 54% of conservative Republicans support Bush on economy.
Not surprisingly, Bush leads on social issues, by a wide margin...except abortion. Why would he and Kerry tie on abortion? Is it because Kerry's Catholic?

Here's another one which shows opposition to the FMA (49-42% against; a bit narrow for my taste, but I'm grateful for small favors). Surprisingly again, the area with the least support of the FMA is the Midwest (37%). The South has the most (50%). I hope those numbers don't increase heavily when Rove starts in.
