Lots of posts, lots of talk, about how we've got to see this through. How many of you have children who'll be old enough for the draft by 2008? My son is 14. So while I take comfort knowing there are at least 56 million dissenting voters like me, I don't feel like I've got the cushion of time that people say we'll need to see this through. I'm trying to find ways to be positive, but my kid--and his friends, and his cousins--are at risk of being taken away as a result of Bush's scorched-earth policy.
How are other parents of teens and 20-somethings dealing with this?
