Rasmussen. 6/9. Likely voters. MoE 4% (5/12 results)
McCain (R) 35 (40)
Obama (D) 53 (51)
On 3/27, around the worst of the Wright stuff, Obama was up just 48-43. On 2/28, McCain was up 45-44. But those days are long gone. The trends are heavily in Obama's direction. And there's still plenty of room for Obama to widen his lead among Democrats:
6/9 Total Men Wom GOP Dem Other
McCain 35 38 33 75 9 34
Obama 53 52 54 18 81 47
5/12 Total Men Wom GOP Dem Other
McCain 40 42 39 87 10 38
Obama 51 50 51 11 83 45
McCain is bleeding Republicans up in the upper-left-hand corner of the continental U.S. I don't think they're too gung-ho for 100 more years in Iraq, or four more years of the Bush agenda.
And they know how to use computers.
