I am a senior at RPI in Troy, NY. In order to graduate in May, I must complete a senior research project. I've chosen to do mine on blogging and left-leaning politics.
This diary entry is part of a the project. I will document the progress of the paper in my own blog created for the purpose at http://thebeginningoftime.blogspot.com/
This is the first of a series of diares I will post asking for help. This time you've got your work cut out for you.
As a part of my research, I've chosen to interview some prominent personalities in the field and they have responded favorably to my request:
Joe Trippi (campaign manager for Howard Dean) http://joetrippi.com/
Matt Gross (chief blogger for BlogForAmerica, the Howard Dean campaign's official blog)
http://www.mathewgross.com/blog/
Kevin Drum (blogger at WashingtonMonthly, formerly of CalPundit)
http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/
flip
What are questions that you think would be appropriate for the project? Remember, the research focuses on the intersection of liberal politics and the blogosphere, so please don't ask me to ask questions that fall outside that general area. I won't, for example, be asking Matt Gross questions like "How was it to work for Kate OConnor?"
Any help is really appreciated, and feel free to track the project at The Beginning of Time
I promise to cross-post the results of each interview once finished - unless I am asked to keep some information off the record.
