"More of the Same"

While the summer saw the Obama campaign struggling to come up with an anti-McCain narrative that would stick, now we've got two of them. McCain's two weaknesses going into the fall campaign season are (1) his admission that economics isn't his strong suit (he's "out of touch") and (2) his rubber-stamping of Bush's policies (he's "more of the same"). Obama has been hitting hard on the first front, reminding voters that McCain's policies benefit only the super-rich (and McCain helped that meme along when he couldn't remember how many homes he has).
The second is also being hit just as aggressively. Check out these screenshots from Obama's latest ads:






These images will be key to breaking the tie now on independent votes, since a majority of these voters recognize that a McCain presidency would be nothing more than the third term of George W. Bush:
