Two 20 year veteran EPA attorneys in the Bay Area made a video critical of the Cap and Trade proposal making its way through the Congress. Apparently these two attorneys (who are a couple) were willing to put their careers on the line to make this video. Take a look.
This report that the couple were forced to take the video down was in today's Washington Post:
EPA Forces Employees to Pull Down YouTube Video Critical of Cap-and-Trade
The EPA cited a federal regulation that says government employees may note their official position when making statements on their own time -- as long as their title is "given no more prominence than other significant biographical details."
Williams said the pair have taken down their video, although it was reposted by an environmental group.
Now the Viedo is out there I suspect that the EPA will face a game of whack a mole to try to keep it under wraps.
I thought they made some valid points in the video. They talk about the groupthink before the Challenger disaster. I'm glad that I got to see the video in any case.
I have to express my thanks to Laurie Williams and Allan Zabel for coming forward with this information for our consideration.
Please share your thoughts on the video.
