Within the most recent Washington Post political polling are the usual ayes and nays on current issues, right and wrong directions, and approval or disapproval for various officials. But the funniest nugget to be found is from the following question:
- (ASKED OF LEANED REPUBLICANS) Thinking about Republican leaders today - which one person best reflects the core values of the Republican Party?
Coming in a dismal eighth place (along with seven others), with less than 1% believing he best reflects the values of the party is the leader of the party, Michael Steele. In fact, more Republicans think that "there is no leader" better reflects their values than Steele does. How embarrassing.
