Bad approval numbers
A Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday showed that only 44 percent of state voters say Gov. George Pataki is doing a good job -- just one point above his lowest rating during almost 10 years in office. Forty-three percent disapprove of how Pataki is performing and 13 percent aren't sure.
While I know the next election isn't until '06, which obviously puts it in the future, and of a lower priority than Bush losing, this is really great news. It's a shame that one of the most Democratic states has a Republican.
The question is, which Democrat should be the nominee. I'm sure that both Spitzer and Schumer are thinking about running...
