I am a member of America's biggest party.
I am not a Democrat, or Republican or Green. My status of Green was stripped of me the last time I got a new PA Driver's licence. I just let it sit that way. I do not feel excluseively Green.
Now I am a member of the largest group of registered voters: Independents.
I am truly an independent. It fits my personality. I think for myself. I don't need to read the talking points.
I read the data...for myself. I don't follow the crowds.
The left, the right. What are these? Labels. Worthless in trying to understand a side in an argument.
Lables. Huh....what are they good for? Absolutely nothing!
I tire of the stereotypes. I am weary of the spin. I think it is all so superficial.
One thing I can tell you. When Dr. Dean say's "here's what we're going to do..." He has got my attention.
The good Doc just might get me to officially register D.
The last guy that did that was Jerry from the Bay area. Not Jerry Garcia. The actual Jerry that posed a momentary threat to Bill Clinton in '92. Jerry Brown. The mayor of Oakland, CA.
So even then. The corporate choice prevailed. Clinton Won. The people's choice went home!
This is why I was a Democrat no more. I quit because of Bill Clinton and his corporate cronies. I just went back to the way I was. Independent.
I am nearly back in.....due entirely to Howard Dean.
I bet there's 55 million of us I's who feel we have no home with the D's. Ray Nagin and his chocolate factory...Nancy Palosi, Kerry and all the other wuss-o-ponimouses...
No home. The democrats offer no home.
What could one do if one harnessed the power of 55 million?
But Nooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! I gotta listen to Chocolate town! (by WEEN)
