Ok. I can see how some people would have shocked about the Dean video. Frankly, I think it's a media non-story, but I can at least understand why
some people were startled by it. But...
But every story I've seen on the thing seems to follow the "post-Iowa speech reinforces Dean's angry image" arc. And I don't understand it. I could understand a lot of negative spins about that video. I could understand someone saying it showed Dean was too weird, loopy, unbalanced, or emotional to be President, or something. I wouldn't agree with it at all, but I'd understand it. But angry?!
I mean it's a video of a guy who never stops grinning as he pumps up his supporters' energy. On what planet is that body language, that facial expression, and that demeanor interpreted as "rage"?
