(Warning: Shameless self-promotion ahead)
I'm a graduate student at the University of Maryland currently working on my master's thesis about organized opposition to the war in Iraq.
Anyways, I'm looking for D.C.-area Kossacks who would be willing to be interviewed about their experiences opposing the war in Iraq. Anyone is welcome to particpate, though I'm especially interested in talking to people who have participated in the protest this past weekend, or who have participated in previous demonstrations.
(more info after the jump)
If you'd be willing to be interviewed, please e-mail me at bkruege1 AT umd DOT edu
Interviews will last between 45 minutes to 1 hour and will be conducted at a cafe in the Washington D.C. area. I'll be glad to compensate you for metro fare or parking fees, and to buy you lunch.
Please consider this opportunity to help us academics learn more about effective strategies for mobilizing the antiwar movement.
peace,
Ben
