I am concerned that all too soon this will have been spun into a National-victory-in-the-face-of-an-out-of-scale-Mother-Nature-(who will be pictured as a hairy-legged hippie)-catastrophe, and the passion and fury of THE REALITY of this will have ebbed.
The meta-message will be warped by the Rove-istas. NOLA will be condemned and rebuilt by the robber-cronies of the Thugs in Charge as a petro-Disney facility to wrest the last penny profit on the backs of the unfortunate.
It is wrong to say that now is not the time to point fingers. WTF? Those of us who cannot be involved in rescue, relief, and rebuilding SHOULD be documenting this process and repeating the facts over and over and over.
