In his relentless effort to paint conservation groups as "environmental wackos" Rush Limbaugh, picked up on
this story today.
In Summary: Invasive species transported via the ballast water of cargo ships create huge problems for people and native species. They are a kind of water pollution. The EPA however has been allowing ships to dump ballast water in our bays and rivers, even at the dock. Not good.
The solution is that ships need to dump their ballast water out at sea before entering ports.
Conservation groups sued EPA and won because the exemption violated the federal Clean Water Act. Good news. Judicial system correcting an illegal decision by the executive branch. Our system of checks and balances operating correctly.

Anyway, Rush latches on to the story believing it makes his point about environmental nutcases.

Rush starts off with his usual "environmental wackoland" storyline but quickly gets in way over his head when it becomes obvious he knows dick about this issue.
Suddenly, the emails start coming in from his own listeners saying invasive species are indeed a huge problem that is costing Americans millions of dollars.
So he expertly pivots to claiming "those wackos" are fine with illegal aliens invading from Mexico, but against helpless mullosks without maps.
What a rimjob this man has become.
