Pat Buchanan ruffles his feathers and makes a loud squawking noise as he realizes once again that People Who Don't Look Like Him are living in this country:
Mexico is the greatest foreign policy crisis I think America faces in the next 20, 30 years. Who is going to care, Andrea, 30 years from now whether a Sunni or a Shia is in Baghdad or who’s ruling in Kabul?
We’re gonna have 135 million Hispanics in the United States by 2050, heavily concentrated in the southwest. The question is whether we’re going to survive as a country. < here he waved his fist at a passing cloud >

Yeesh - I knew the guy was old, but really -
he was the first guy here!
Wow!
So I guess this clears up that whole "real Americans" question that so many Republicans have been raising lately. Real Americans, real Virginians, anti-Americans - cripes, even the guy America's named after's not American: the guy was a stinkin' errm, southern European, f'cryin' out loud!
But Pat Buchanan? Pat Buchanan clearly is The Original American - even though much of what he says does sound better in the original German.
As has been noted previously, Republicans are not big on "real" anything.
