I make a point of daily action. Sometimes it's a small donation, sometimes a letter, sometimes an informed conversation with an acquaintance or stranger who is not aware of the evil that our goverment has done or the good that progressives do.
Today I wrote to Time magazine. You can guess why.
Subj: Person of the year
Utterly disgusting.
This man has destroyed our nation.
He has destabilized the world, making it so dangerous for Americans abroad that even if his economic policies had not turned the dollar into so much worthless paper, we dare not leave our shores for fear of our safety.
He has ordered the deaths of hundreds of thousands, in pursuit of threats that have been demonstrated not to exist.
He has squandered our surplus on his campaign of death and on tax giveaways to the wealthy.
His supporters, lured by such outragous lies from his lips that only faith could allow them to be believed, have savaged the voting rights of millions in pursuit of their intolerant, destructive agenda.
Person of the year, indeed. You have thoroughly earned the precipitous drop in subscription revenue, advertising revenue, and credibility your poor judgment will bring you.
I have no further use for Time or its sister publications, except to skim them at a newsstand to make a list of what products to boycott thanks to their advertising support for an ethically bankrupt organization.
Utterly disgusting.
