Okay, yet another late rant by your host, Pinche Tejano.
Now, I was down at the bar drinking on my name and someone asked me, "What do you think about the terrorist plot today?"
My answer was, "We must learn from the lessons of the Miami 7."
After the pop culture reference sank in, a quiet understanding overtook our corner of the bar. Then, as I finished my beer, I added, "At the end of the day, we must ask ourselves, who are the mother fucking snakes on the plane?"
That earned me a free shot, which I took, and now I will explain why I said what I said because it needs being said.
First, the back story, the Miami 7. From Abu Zubaydah, to blow torching the Brooklyn Bridge down, to Jose Padilla, the Bush administration's record on terrorist plots is shady at best. The Miami 7, which the media has already let slip down the memory hole, is a classic example of that. Let's take a look at these guys:
Okay, I am sorry, but I doubt these guys could get cab fare together to get to the bus station much less put together a plan to take down the Sears Tower, in a town only one of them had been too. And come to find out, it was the agent that went deep cover in this ragtag group that suggested they contact Al Quacka and attacked the Tower and FBI organizations.
And for various other reasons, this is why you do not hear about the Miami 7 today, it would be an embarrassment to the Bush administration's War on Terra. Mostly, because it was all a set up, otherwise it will still be page one because the Republican Right needs good news. And when the news turns out to be a red herring they created in a lab, they move on. And they hope you forget about it.
Which brings me to today's events.
The alleged U.K. terra plot, it is still alleged at this point my friends, has been investigated by British intelligence for months. It was last Friday, according to this Yahoo! New Story:

that both Bush and Blair decided it was time to roll this puppy out. And according to the Associated Press, they decided to pull the trigger last night on Wednesday. Since they both knew about this several months ago, the release of the hounds was obvious for the collective political effect for both.
Tony Blair's political fortune was in code red. Jim Sheridan, resigned over Blair's handling of the Middle East crisis:

That dude was the parliamentary private secretary to the freaking Ministry of Defense, and he was none to happy with Scottish airports being used to refuel US planes carrying arms to Israel. Blair had days left in power, seriously, read the link.
The reason Bush needed it is all to obvious with the midterm elections coming up, just look at the now famous "Weeks before September 11th, this is going to play big" quote.
"The comments were purely and simply a reaction" to Democratic voters who "removed a pro-defense Senator and sent the message that the party would not tolerate candidates with such views," said Snow.
Yeah, so Blair's problem and the Lieberman defeat was the obvious trigger for this, I guess the "the boss" is doing anything he could.
Since this terrorist group was following the same model as the MIami 7, ie the agent that was with the group pushing them to carrying out the terrorist acts of the agent's choosing, the raid was just waiting to happen at the moment the snakes wanted it most. There is no conspiracy when actual facts demonstrate a rational truth. A RATIONAL TRUTH.
If you troll rate me for a CT diary, I will take your irrational ass out to the logic woodshed.
So we must ask ourselves, who are the mother fucking snakes on the god damn plane? And is this Fantasy Island, and this whole episode nothing more than "Da Plane! De Plane! Boss, De Plane!" And how many more times will the their fantasies come true?
On a side note, I noticed we are no longer allowed bring containers of fluid on planes anymore. I might point out, that we are, as humans, are just bags of skin filled with fluid. Which brings me to Dr. Strangelove, and the general who brought about the atomic world, because, the enemy was after our "precious body fluids." I guess I need to learn to stop worrying and love the bomb.
