The assault on Kerry from the press for being the front-runner has been unbelievable.
He is being hit from all sides, but remains standing, in what will go down in history as one of the toughest "vetting" processes any presidential candidate has had to face. The brutal campaign process of face to face debates, with the other candidates questioning his every position, has to really be taking it's toll.
I know that this will only make Kerry stronger for the general election, but it is painful to watch the challenges and hurdles he has overcome to rise to the top of this race. (I haven't even mentioned the vicious attack ads from various Republican 527's that are running in all of the battleground states.)
I know this presidential race is supposed to be grueling, but to see a man like Kerry have to fight his way through all of this, while only spending $7 million of his own money, makes me all the more certain that we are picking the right man.
