I talked to an acquaintance who works at the LA Times today. He said that there is a chance that
Robert Scheer will be reinstated.
In case you hadn't heard, Robert Scheer, who wrote for the LA Times for over 30 years, was fired. It is widely believed that the publisher just didn't like Scheer's passionate progressive viewpoint.
He suggested that people email readersrep@latimes.com .
Please recommend so as many Southen California Kossacks will see this as possible.
I'm sure that Scheer's firing has been discussed, but I hope my conversation with an LA Times writer gives people an extra reason to write to the paper.
Suggestions for what to write below the fold.

In addition to whatever you love about Robert Scheer, here are some of the points that he suggests including:
- You live in Los Angeles/Southern CA.
- Scheer is one of the few LA Times columnists that actually lives in Los Angeles and his columns often had a SoCal take on national events.
- It doesn't hurt to include that you are a homeowner if you are, or anything that gives them the idea that you are a desirable demographic to their advertisers.
