The Green party convention will start in less than a week, and a week from Saturday, we will vote on the Presidential nomination/endorsement. Nader is not running for the nomination, but wants our endorsement. In order for that to happen, we have to vote for no candidate to be nominated, and then vote for an endorsement. I supoose it's possible that this could happen for Kerry as well (very unlikely).
The convention will be a wild affair, with lots of back door dealings. Peter Camejo, who is third in delegates behind safe state strategist David Cobb and Uncomited, has proposed a split ticket - meaning that it's up to individual states who to run - Nader would get the endorsement in some, Cobb the nomination in others, some would have no candidate, but the Greens, in essence, would have @ candidates, not one.
