Merry Christmas to me. It's not often I have something of real substance to report. This is the best Christmas gift I could have hoped for, as a blogger. Real life journalism and an opportunity for shameless exhibitionism all rolled into one. I bet a lot of people are listening! And best of all, it came on Christmas eve
No. Shit. I found this in my computer room, I think it actually fell out of my jacket which I'd just slung across a chair. Anyway, it was on the floor near where my jacket was and a couple of metres away from my blog booth. After doing two minutes "is that what I think it is no it can't be OMG" I snapped a picture and uploaded to share.
The photo isn't to scale, I measured it and it's 36mm long. It has some very tiny writing embossed on the underside.
And this is the closest picture on the web that I could find that looks like it (without case).
I know there's probably a bunch more of them planted about the place but I really can't be bothered looking for them, and well hey, what does it matter to a blogger - I publish everything anyway. I'll be blogging intermittently on my other blog here, so if you want to get dibs on the same info echelon (or whoever) is getting - be my guest, I'll try and fill you in on all my daily doings as I can. Knowledge is power, as they say, and why shouldn't the people know eveything about me that our governments don't? Thankfully, this has resolved my whole blog dilemma and new years resolution - what to blog about in 2006. Before today I was falling back on arguing with spooks and trolls. Now at least I can settle down and do some real service informing on myself. I hereby pledge to publically keep everyone (whole world wide) up to date on my personal movements in my blog. I am in Sydney, Australia.
If anyone else has found one, or knows anything about these devices, why not take a snap and throw up a picture too.
Happy Christmas and a merry new year to all.
Peace be on earth.
Update: somebody asked for more evidence, I took more pictures. Somebody mentioned it's too big - it's 36mm long which is shorter then the 45mm board length on the "3007 - 'MTX' Miniature 3V FM Room Transmitter" I found described here. Somebody asked why would I be bugged - I ask myself the same thing. I am a pacifist and I sometimes chat with Iraqis online, maybe that has something to do with it.
I'm considering trying to take the plastic off and see what's inside. The writing on it says either N10 or K10 - it's very small and I can barely read it.
I think it fell out of my jacket, I think I was supposed to find it, and I think someone wants me to shut-up. I should go, it's Christmas day over here already at 6:33am (blogging from Sydney).
To everyone suggesting I am trolling - give me a break.
Pictures below, it's hard to photograph, it's small and my camera isn't the greatest. I'm having trouble trying to get the writing in the picture or the thing in focus. I've uploaded the jpgs to blogger and linked the pictures over here, so hope they are showing up ok (I didn't have time to resize or crop them). I can only do one post per day on Kos and I've used it up already. If anyone wants to email me: emigreimagine@yahoo.com.au
