In light of Rush Limbaugh's latest verbal vomit:
Obama "wants us to have the same health care and plan that he had in Kenya" and "wants to be the black FDR.
... one has to ask if the elected-arm of the Republican Party stand by their past comments about their de facto leader -- does House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA) still think that:
Rush Limbaugh is someone with ideas, he believes in principles that have been part of who he is and what he's been about and frankly, what I'm about.
Does RNC Chairman Michael Steele still say:
I have enormous respect for Rush Limbaugh.
And as Limbaugh continues to spew his racist garbage, does the traditional media ever wonder whether Republicans have any problem with him saying:
Let’s face it, President Obama’s black, and I think he’s got a chip on his shoulder.
... or:
How do you get promoted in a Barack Obama administration? By hating white people.
... and of course there's his deep thoughts on Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor:
She doesn't have any intellectual depth. She's got a -- she's an angry woman, she's a bigot. She's a racist.
Of course, Limbaugh has a long history of vicious, racist, bigoted remarks, but apparently the media, along with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, have:
... better things to do than be the speech police.
But hey, why should the media bother to call out Limbaugh or the Republican leadership over his hate-speech? It's not like he has any influence over the GOP, right?
