LANDRIEU: Well, many of us believe, George, that it will undermine the private insurance system.
Nice to see senators like Landrieu looking out for their true constituents -- not the people who elected them, but the insurance companies that line their pockets. And the last thing those insurance companies want is market competition. They protect their monopolies at all costs.
Root for David Vitter to win reelection. Rep. Charlie Melancon would be worse than Landrieu.
