Well... since this site seems to be full of people grinding and gnashing their teeth over this supposed controversy of Kerry's "war" remarks.. I thought I'd post the August 10 tracking poll of Rasmussen which has got John Kerry back in front of Bush 49 - 46%. Remember that yesterday Bush led 48-47.

Some other interesting results:
- 51% of Americans now think the economy is getting worse (Bad news for Bush).
-47% of American voters believe that, in the interests of co-operation, America's allies should "do what the United States wants more often."
As a Canadian.. I have to shake my head at that last poll (though it explains that an overwhelming majority of Republicans feel that way, as opposed to Democrats who by a slight margin feel the US should listen to its allies more). Friends dont follow friends over a cliff if they feel its bad for their health (Iraq anyone?)
