As if Mark Kirk's habitually lying ass about his military record wasn't bad enough, Talking Points Memo reports the following:
Kirk was apparently caught on tape saying he wants to send "Voter Integrity squads" out on Election Day.
And what kind of integrity might they be looking for?
The kind of voter that is white, of course!
"These are lawyers and other people that will be deployed in key, vulnerable precincts, for example, South and West sides of Chicago, Rockford, Metro East, where the other side might be tempted to jigger the numbers somewhat," he said in the audio posted on YouTube.
Of course, those are all mostly African-American sections of the city. Where is the need to insure voter integrity in the rich, white sections of the city?
Oh, wait...
In addition, a local Chicago ABC affiliate says that the Kirk campaign "confirmed" that Kirk had in fact been taped saying these things.
It should not surprise anyone that a guy like Kirk is pandering even harder to the right while perpetuating the "voter fraud" meme among the rabid teabaggers.
There is never any reason for any campaign to send out people to search for or protect or whatever "voter integrity".
Of course, the best kind of integrity comes from who gets sent to the US Senate.
The man to do that is clearly not Mark Kirk.
It is Alexi Giannoulias. He needs your help!
