According to PPP, they find Jerry Brown up over Whitman by 11 points, 53-42. They also find Barbara Boxer over Fiorina by 9 points, 52-43. Which of course is great news for those still shaky over whether or not Boxer can win as polls have showned Fiorina catching up to her, after a barrage of negative Boxer ads by Fiorina. This race is still pretty close, and its coming down to the Independents. Also, Fiorina was just hospitalized for breast cancer complications, I wish her well and hope she makes a full recovery.
But for Prop 19, they find it down with 48% opposing it and 45% supporting it and they also note that the electorate isn't more conservative, but more Democratic which means that alot of Democrats are buying the b.s from the No on 19 crowd, but that means we still have a lot to do to sway their votes.
This comes after a new Yes on 19 ad released a few days ago:
As for Democrat Kamala Harris, she is being attacked in a new ad affiliated by Karl Rove by a shadowy group called the Republican State Leadership Committee dropped $1 million in new attack ads. Now she's fighting back, claiming the ad violates state law. Let's help out Kamala win her fight against Prop H8 defender and retrograde D.A Steve Cooley. Donate to Kamala here
We have to keep on GOTV folks! No matter what the polls show, there is still much to do to make sure we keep Brown and Boxer leading. And we also have to keep on fighting for other statewide Dems, like Gavin Newsom for LG and Kamala Harris for AG, especially Harris who has seen the impact of the Karl Rove machine's dirty money ads already hitting her statewide. I'm confident in our chances atop the ticket, but there's still a lot to do for our down-ballot candidates. PPP also said they're polling California one last time before Nov 2nd. Let's keep the momentum going! California is truly becoming the dark blue firewall in this election, lets keep it that way!
