Dear Unlikely Democratic Voter,
Fuck you!
Fuck you for giving Obama and the Democrats less than 22 months to undo the damage that Bush and the Republicans took eight years to do.
Fuck you for rewarding the Republicans for lying, obstructing and sowing fear and hatred.
It's not that I don't understand your frustration with both the Democrats in Congress and the President, in fact I share it. But despite my disappointment, allowing the Republicans to regain control is not just counter-productive, it's dangerous. Especially when you consider how many wacky extremists may win. The Republican establishment has chosen to embrace many of these extremists, because they defeated establishment candidates in the primaries, and so in order to stay in the good graces in what has now become the base of the Republican party, they may embrace parts of the wacky agenda as well.
Choosing not to vote is not just sending a message to Washington, it's hurting this nation and it's citizen's.
I don't care how disappointed you are that the economy hasn't turned around fast enough, get off your ass and go vote.
Nevada Democrats, I don't care how much you hate Harry Reid, do you really think that Sharon Angle represents your interests? She's a fucking lunatic and if you don't vote to keep her out of office then you are a lunatic too.
Kentucky Democrats. Rand Paul? Really? You're okay with that libertarian extremist in office. Do you understand just how extreme his views are? If not, I suggest you google, and keep a barf bag nearby.
Pennsylvania Democrats - do you really want Toomey in there? He's a club for growth Conservative.
Wisconsin Dems, are you really going to let the country lose Feingold?
Colorado Democrats, Illinois Democrats, Florida Democrats. Get off your asses.
If Democrats in blue districts or even closely divided districts in every state get off their ass and vote, we can keep control of not only the Senate but the house too. And keep the Republican's pro business and the rich, fuck everybody else, cut taxes, medicare and social security agenda as John Boehner's pipe dream rather than this nation's nightmare.
Come November 2nd, let's have the pollsters and pundits scratching their heads.
I don't care how disappointed you are by where the country is today - get off your ass and vote.
The vote you choose not to cast may be your own, but the country that choice may destroy is mine too.
