One issue that I find very disconcerting is the fact the we have not been able to find Saddam yet. The latest NY Times reports that some people believe that Saddam is actively planning some of the resistance that is now occurring. It should be clear to all that Saddam's ability to do this, is nothing short of astounding, and cements the notion that conditions in Iraq are getting much worse by the day. One would assume that getting Saddam is still the number one priority by the US military. For Saddam to be able to plan military operations against the US, his support among many Iraqis must be strong. I am perplexed that with the weight and resources of the US military we can not find him. This simple fact means we are up against more than we know.
