When George W. Bush took office, our nation was at peace, the economy was booming, and we had a budget surplus. By the time he left office, the stock market had fallen further in his eight years in the White House than it had under any other President in history, fewer people had jobs than when he started, we were involved in two separate wars (one of them on false pretenses), the financial system was on the brink of collapse, an entire U.S. city had been flooded, and the list goes on.
And his worst moment in office?
“The suggestion that I was racist because of the response to Katrina represented an all-time low,” Mr. Bush told a surprised Matt Lauer on NBC on Monday night.
“I didn’t appreciate it then; I don’t appreciate it now,” he added fiercely. “I resent it, it’s not true, and it was one of the most disgusting moments in my presidency.”
What a self-centered, self-absorbed idiot.
By the way, Bush gave the interview to Lauer to promote his new book. Don't buy it.

Update/p.s.: He should have said his best moment in office was not getting impeached over the dishonest case he made for war with Iraq.
