Yesterday was the Tucson Wool Festival, but I was unfortunately ill and did not make it. It's too bad, as I was looking forward to demonstrating spinning on my Kromski Mazurka, and to selling some of my handspun and handmade items.
Down below the fold, I will show you a little bit of what's been coming off my wheel.
Before we go on to the photos, let me just remind you that WAYWO is here every Sunday afternoon for all of us crafters to come and chat about what we're working on. Our definition of crafting is very loose, so don't be shy about what you're doing - you'll fit right in! If you haven't already done so, sign up for our email notifications at our Yahoo! WAYWO Group. We only email once a week, when WAYWO is posted.
Now, here's what I've been working on ...
A lovely bit of Corriedale wool, in a colorway my friend dyes, named All Your Base.
This is a few ounces of Rambouillet wool that I dyed myself in pastels. I'm not sure this will stay pastel, though, as I'm considering overdyeing it.
Finally, a project for the hubster. He's sadly lacking in handknits, so I decided to start a pair of socks for him. Here's the beginning.
So, pull up a chair and tell us - What are you working on?
