House Minority Leader John Boehner must be in traction after the stretching he did to defend the state of Arizona's decision to enshrine racial profiling into law:
Boehner told reporters that Arizona was within its constitutional rights in passing the law. “It has a 70 percent approval in Arizona and I think that we ought to respect the people of Arizona in their right to make their own decisions,” Boehner said.
Is that how it works now? Does Arizona have the right to declare war? To sign treaties with other countries? To coin their own money?
At what point will the GOP stop bastardizing the Constitution to pander to the extremists within their party?
And by the way, will Arizona be required to provide and maintain their own Navy?
